Bleach: The Final Part gets a trailer and a premiere date announced
Look at what they decided to release all of a sudden. Pierrot Films has decided to play with the hearts of those still patient enough to wait and released the new trailer for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Final Part - The Calamity. This last part promises to wrap things up with what they call "immense intense battles," which is the least one would expect after so much dragging in previous arcs. The big news is that the anime officially arrives in July, although the specific date seems to be a state secret that no one wants to reveal at the moment.
For those in Japan on June 21, there will be those early and special screenings in several cities, showing the first three episodes all at once. A great opportunity for those who love spoilers or simply can't stand the weekly format.
The current arc adapts the final saga of the manga created by Tite Kubo. This entire adventure started back in 2022 and is expected to end sometime in the latter half of 2026. Yes, four years to adapt a single arc, which shows how the production pace of the industry sometimes moves at a snail's pace, but at least the visual quality of this new phase has made the wait worthwhile.
It remains to be seen if BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War will deliver a fitting conclusion or if it will lose itself in the rush of the final moments, something that unfortunately wouldn't be new for the franchise. For now, the only thing to do is rewatch the trailer and hope for the best.
